Harvey Preszler of Graham was born to Arthur and Anna (Himmerich) Preszler on Nov. 27, 1936, in Hosmer.
He was confirmed in the Reformed Church and was a member of the American Legion of Hosmer.
Harvey farmed with his dad and then served in the US Army. He then moved to Washington to work for Boeing. For many years, he was a long-haul truck driver for the Mayflower Company. Harvey retired from Manke Lumber in Sumner, WA.
He lived at Family Garden Group Home in Spanaway, WA., for the last four months.
He passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016, at age 79 in Puyallup, WA.
He is survived by two brothers: Raymond (Gladys) Preszler of Aberdeen and Alvin (Mildred) Preszler of Eureka; and two sisters: Arvella (Ivan) Schumacher of Hosmer and Janice (Floyd, deceased) Ruby of Graham; one deceased brother, Lester Preszler. He has 11 nieces and nephews, 18 great-nieces and great-nephews, 14 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews and one deceased niece.
Memorial services will be held at Bethany Cemetery in Hosmer on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at 2:30 p.m. CDT.
Lunch and fellowship will follow in the Hosmer Fire Hall for family and friends.
